Maryann’s Bio: Mary Ann Blair is a fitness nurse and Level 2 Integrative Health Practitioner  on a mission to educate, empower and equip others with the tools to take an active role in their own health and wellness journey.

After a long career in care coordination and case management, she recognized there was a need to focus on the individual in transition - the new mother with the goal to stay energized to play with her children; the busy executive recently diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder and needs support to navigate the healthcare system; the shift worker who now has to juggle work and home life and feeling challenged to maintain healthy eating and exercise patterns; the retired professional experiencing hormonal fluctuations and not happy with changes in body composition.

By directing her attention towards preventative health through active living, mindful eating and positive habit mastery, her goal is to educate, empower and equip others with the tools to take an active role in their own health and wellness journey.

In this episode Maryann and I talk about how trauma is stored in the body, how we can identify it, what happens when we ignore it  and how we can use movement to help release trauma.
